Plant workshops and events in the Tri-Cities
Plant workshops at SOILMATES are hands-on and family friendly, starting with Paint a Pot: paint your own pot, take home a 4-inch plant in it, and enjoy some ice cream while you are at it.
Family workshop
Paint a Pot
A creative afternoon for kids and their grown-ups. Everyone paints a pot, takes home a plant in it, and leaves a little messier and a lot happier.
-
A pot to paint any way you like
-
A 4-inch plant to take home in it
-
Ice cream while the paint dries
Workshops happen at the shop in downtown Kennewick, an easy drive from Pasco, Richland and West Richland.

Gifts from local makers
Between the plants you will find gifts from local makers: cards, macrame, pots and other one-of-a-kind finds. Shopping them means supporting more than one small business at a time.
